Not usually a fan of Trudeau, but he’s 100% right on this one

As a Canadian, I am not a fan of Mr. Trudeau. But this speech is really impressive.

Not a fan of Trudeau, I was actually relieved that he resigned but man! Very well spoken man he is! Canada strong!

Not a big fan of Trudeau but i have to say, lately he's doing a good job to hold his own against the VICE PRESIDENT Trump the orange felon!

I have not always been a fan of Trudeau, but I have to give it to him today. You spoke with care, adressing the issues and standing up for Canada amidst this hard time. You deserve a standing ovation. Thank you Justin. I am a proud Newfoundlander, but also Proud Canadian. Hoping that hopefully Trump will choose to work with us not against us. All of us on this continent need to work as one, helping all our neighbors.

Don't be fooled by this wimp my American friends. Trudeau is a weasel and has killed Canada. I'm not a fan of Trump but he still has seen thru this bum and we deserve what we're getting because of his neglect and Woke policies for the last 10 years. he's as corrupt as a politician can get. So please wait til we get a leader in Canada that will get us back to a REAL partner with the US. An election is gonna happen real soon that will put a Prime Minister in place that will address the concerns of both of our countries and get things back to normal.....and it won't be Mark Carney!!!!!

Though I'm not a fan of Trudeau as a politician, on his response to Trump I'm proud of him. He stood up for Canada with force and truth. People will remember that.

And then in a second language!!! Just because I'm not one of HIS fans, I am however a massive fan of Canada. I support Canada in this situation 100%. A trade war IS dumb, and even dumber with your closest ally and neighbor. Dumb and Dumber all in one go.... wowzah....so much winning?.

I’m Canadian. My family have always been Liberals but I’m not much of a Trudeau fan myself. For today, it doesn’t matter whether you like the man or not, Trudeau deserves a standing ovation for his speech and the actions he is taking. That’s what a leader of a country should sound like and react like. It’s going to be a tough road ahead for us but together we will pull through this. Stay strong my fellow Canadians, we got this. ❤

I’m a Canadian and no fan of Prime Minister Trudeau. It’s unfortunate the best speech he ever gave was after he resigned as Prime Minister. What he has said in this speech is absolutely true, despite the fact, I think Trump is doing some good things for the USA. This Terrif war with your neighbour is stupid. Unfortunately for us in Canada our Prime Minister has not given us the tools and freedom to grow economically and prosper the way we should have. Canadians should be living like Kings, but unfortunately are living paycheque to paycheque because of the stranglehold that our Prime Minister has put on businesses and its citizens. Now Canada has very little leverage, I believe to fight this Terrif war. Canada has become a pure Cradic nightmare, like the previous administration in the United States were overtaxed over regulated and spend money like drunken sailors on stupid things that don’t help us grow and prosper.

I come from a long line of Canadian’s, I’m not a fan of Trudeau but I have to say he made me proud today standing up to the school yard bully. I know most Americans don’t support what Trump is doing because as Canadian and Americans we are decent hard working people who don’t need a government that doesn’t speak for the people God bless us all the world needs to find a way for peace our children and grandchildren deserve better.

But oh my, in my many years of experience I have never seen Canadians united the way we have become as a result of threats eminating from the US. For this, we are putting our differences aside and uniting as one. I’m not a Trudeau fan, but he speaks - very well - for our nation.

I’m not a fan of Trudeau but he speaks in a calm rational manner. He is polite but firm. I’m an American and although I agree with some of Trumps ideas, being rude and not thinking things through before acting, is inexcusable. We have enemies all over the world and now we have even turned our friends against us. The drug problem is an American problem, not Canada or Mexico. We can’t keep guns from entering Mexico, arming the cartels, how can we expect the Mexican government to keep drugs out of America?

I'm not a fan of Justin Trudeau by any means, HOWEVER... Hearing his speech just now filled me with pride to be Canadian and standing up to the new autocratic fascist government of our southern neighbour. I've watched over the last +/- 40 days the UnUnited States of America devolve into Russia's lap dog, with Putin's excrement on Orange Man's face on a near daily basis. I hope that whatever good people left down there can rise up and take back their country ASAP, otherwise the entire world will suffer the catastrophic consequences!

I gotta say that I'm not a liberal nor have I been a particular fan of Justin Trudeau... but today (and for the last few weeks) I've been quite impressed by my Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. This Canadian supports a vast and vicious trade war against the United States. I do not have any hatred for the American people but I do have nothing but contempt for Trump and his band of traitorous scum! I wouldn't have dreamed that our closest friend and ally could be siding with an enemy proclaimed (Russia) against democratic nations. Trump represents an existential threat to democracy everywhere and must be put down by the American people like a rabid dog!

I think this was probably the best speech I’ve heard from Trudeau. I’m not a fan of his, but I admire the way he has handled this and stood up for us. I’m deeply touched by the amount of support we are receiving from around the world and especially from our US brothers and sisters. ❤️??
