Yes, the niqab does define you. It is a physical, in your face statement that you are an adherent of Sharia Law. As many are saying, if you want to live in an Islamic State, under Sharia Law, you should go to a country that can offer you that. Sharia Law has no place in a democracy. Sharia Law and its practitioners do not belong in democracy.

The issue is islam, not all muslims. Unfortunately those two often go hand in hand, making it hard to criticizes islam without people thinking you are criticizing all muslims, which isn’ the case. \n\nThe issue with the religion of islam is that it is inherently not peaceful (If you want to discuss why that is more so the case than other religions we can do that). People who say it's the white males in power trying to oppress the Muslims with their culture need to wake up, If these people want to live in a society that abides by Sharia law they should have stayed in their own country or assimilated to the dominant culture in the country they immigrated to.
