I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually just like East Asians have Markham and parts of Scarborough, the south Asians had a high enough population for Brampton to be considered their home turf. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. Stay strong my Punjabi friends 👳🏿

The reality is that Canada’s demographic changes are largely driven by high levels of immigration from India and Arab and Muslimmajority countries. It is important to stop the narrative of hatred toward Black people, especially the labeling of them as “low IQ.” Many immigrants from Africa are hardworking and striving to assimilate, yet they continue to face unfair stereotypes. In fact, many Black immigrants are professors, post-doctoral researchers, doctors, engineers, and other professionals. Those who do not hold advanced degrees are still performing essential labor that sustains the economy. Ignoring these contributions suggests that the concern is not genuinely about protecting Canada from immigration or cultural change, but rather reflects a deeper, selective hostility toward Black people. Honest reflection and research would make this clear.

Another important concern is that visa officers in certain countries who facilitated fake applications through bribery should be thoroughly investigated, while many genuine and legitimate visitor‑visa applicants — who simply wished to visit Canada and enjoy places like Niagara Falls — were unfairly rejected. The full staff in these offices should be reassigned, and the approval systems and procedures should be completely overhauled to ensure transparency, accountability, and proper decision‑making going forward. Immigrants who have legitimately obtained Permanent Residence or Canadian citizenship are also facing unfair barriers, especially in the job market. Despite having full legal status, many are not even given interview opportunities, while corrupted or poorly monitored ATS systems are being exploited by bad actors. Employers — including major banks and other leading organizations — have hired temporary workers without properly verifying their status or detecting fake documentation. Canada needs a clear hiring principle: priority should be given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents first, and only when no qualified applicants exist should other categories be considered. LMIA approvals should be paused to prevent misuse and ensure fairness for those who have followed the legal pathway. Strengthening verification processes and enforcing employer accountability would help restore integrity and fairness in both the immigration and employment systems. Many of these immigrants have sacrificed their assets and life savings in their home countries, embraced Canada as their new motherland, and now find themselves suffering with no realistic path to return — making fairness and accountability in the system even more essential.

What is happening in Brampton today resembles, in a historical sense, what Europeans once did to Native Americans—establishing dominance through demographic change, reshaping local culture, and creating parallel social structures. The difference is that this time it is happening through modern immigration and citizenship policies rather than conquest. Brampton is increasingly becoming Indian-dominant, not because of organic assimilation, but because Canadian government policies have allowed unchecked immigration, easy pathways to citizenship, and weak enforcement against illegal overstays. This demographic shift is a direct consequence of Canadian governance decisions, not the actions of immigrants alone. It is also important to acknowledge an uncomfortable reality: while many Indians in Brampton are hardworking, skilled, and law-abiding, there are individuals living there who are reportedly facing criminal charges or are wanted in India, yet continue to remain abroad due to legal loopholes, slow extradition processes, or a lack of coordination between governments. Ignoring this issue only undermines trust and accountability. Ultimately, the responsibility lies with the Canadian government. Citizenship is granted by Canada, not India. If Brampton is changing rapidly in its cultural and demographic makeup, it is because policymakers chose growth without proper planning, enforcement, or integration. History shows that when governments ignore demographic balance and social cohesion, long-term consequences follow—regardless of which group is involved.

This is an immigration and refugee lawyer who owns a law firm and actively represents refugees/asylum seekers and immigrants from other countries who want not wish to become fully Canadian citizens My very important question to her As the principle Is how are you paid for your legal services and representation Lawyers always tell me they can be referred to by Law society of Canada For a 30 minute free legal consultation But once that is paid out by that association that is where lawyers and para legal professionals pay dues to join Then it’s up to those professionals to charge Hourly fee flat rate And All additional charges associated with the file/case law once opened and documents signed So how much does it cost to 1. Refugees claims 2. Asylum seekers claims 3. Immigration claims 4. Detainee claims 5. Deportation claims in the form of Appeals How many can they have Who pays these professionals? When media such as CBC Also government employees who are paid by the federal government Do not ask these questions Which are again Paid to NGOs By us poor taxpayers!!!!! Towards these professionals who represent economic migration and only cost us Canadians more money

All these people praying to false idols in the hundreds in India alone, when there is only One True Living God in Jesus Christ. Then look at all of the people in Asia and all around the world worshiping the antichrist in the Islamic faith, doing voodoo and black magics in Africa, Jamaica, Haiti, Mexico, Columbia and the list goes on, all serving Satan praying to false gods. The concept of "one way to God through Jesus" stems from the biblical declaration in John 14:6 where Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". This Christian belief holds that Jesus's unique role as God's Son, his perfect life, and his sacrificial death for humanity's sins make him the sole mediator and the only path to reconciliation and salvation with God. Yes, praying to false idols is considered a grave sin, as it is a form of idolatry that violates the fundamental principle of worshipping only the one true God. Idolatry is defined as the worship of something other than God, including physical idols, created beings, or even earthly things, and is seen as a profound sin because it steals glory due to God and prioritizes something powerless over the all-powerful true God. To pray to false idols from different Nations was and still is a trick, lie and manipulation of the devil to ensure that you all burn for all eternity in Hell with Satan, when Jesus returns. This is not meant as an insult to people from other cultures but a word of Gods truth being shared so you too can be delivered from the evil in todays word when Jesus does return and He is coming. Not everyone is guilty of evil works of the devil but we are all guilty of sin in every nation and every culture. God gifted us with the death of Christ so we can be delivered form sin in todays world and saved from eternal damnation. No other offer is made to man except those who believe in Christ. Why do you think that they want to destroy Christianity and all who choose God in Christ. Satan knows his time is up and he wants you and your generations to suffer eternal damnation with him. Government employees doing acts of terror against Christian places of worship. This is who our Corrupt Governments hire, not to protect and serve the people but do literal acts of terror against them. https://youtu.be/uCLkFrPdhXw Just look at our government run businesses in the LCBO https://youtu.be/THQWvc3_jcc ,which appears to have a very high number of East Indian employees as staffers and the police do nothing against it or in defense of the taxpayer. It appears that many from India are doing the devils works against Canadians https://youtu.be/LfLzJX7kXuI What is Pierre Poilievre doing for our economy again, as he claims that he has more important things to do to save our economy than stand in defense of the Canadian people for our rights and freedoms. https://youtu.be/sJyC7yda2FE Lies all lies as he plays the role of Pinocchio. Canada Nation Defense for terrorists against the people of Canada and believers in Jesus Christ. health Canada scientists promoting death and illness promoting things that are harmful to pregnant women, fake science and forcing these things on people by threatening their incomes livelihoods and freedoms to have basic living essential and conditions. Canada Revenue robbing every tax payer until the have nothing left. Even in your death as they find new was to ensure that death comes sooner than later in our lives by creating suicide programs, and free drug programs, criminal release programs, allowing criminals to break into your home to steal, destroy and kill you and your family, inviting terrorist into the country and free to do whatever harm they want to the Canadian people. You go to jail and they are free to do it again. This story of capital gains https://youtu.be/c0OukNP1vZ8is even before Carneys new 2026 Capital gains tax laws on you initial home and property as well, not just secondary real estate. They are greedy and want everything that you have worked your whole life for. Truth be told though, they have being saying this the whole time "you will have nothing and be happy" All these things are real and are happening in Canada under this evil agenda of both the Federal and Provincial governments. You as Canadians need to arm yourselves with the power Of God in Jesus Name as His word warns us in Ephesians 6:12; For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. If you still don't believe me, then ask yourself "What has any one of those fake politicians Federal and provincial done against any of these evil actions that have been forced onto the Canadian people since Trudeau too power ten years ago...That was rhetorical, that have done nothing but talk from both sides of their mouths. They have done nothing for the people but they have served themselves in every possible way as they are all guilty of taking your money and living high on the hog while you go broke, homeless and without food. They are true evil ang guilty of crimes against humanity. I vow as I decree and declare to my Father in the heavens in the name of Jesus, that I will pray for the good people of Canada against this evil and corruption every day. I hope that many of you will join me in these prayers IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT, for Him to defend us against our modern day Pharaoh in Canada and deliver us from our oppressors', as He did for Moses and his people in the Book of Exodus against that evil that Satan brought and is bring to us again today. Amen!

And Brampton is known as the capital of truck licenses without the proper test. The TV show Marketplace exposed that situation a few years ago. I'm new to Canada, but one thing about people from India is that if they have the opportunity to skip or cheat on a test, they take it. I know this firsthand. Another important fact is the population of India; they are around 1,300 millons people, but only 1% of those people can collapse the immigration system of a country, in this case, Canada. And Canada allowed it. Last but not least, I don't know if deodorant is forbidden in India, but they smell really bad.

If I remember right canada first house crises was in the 19’s something and back then they started making more houses to resolved this problem………………..,… And I am thinking that getting immigrants from only 1 country might not be good, because of countries, society mentality…………. One Example ; a-lot people in the USA are strong guns advocate, if Canada only get people from the US and because the majority of Americans love their guns, they may advocate to have more guns freedom in Canada and teach their children guns loving mentality. So it is probably best to mix individual from various country to minimize this outcome. ………………. In any case immigration are very important for countries whom don’t make a lot of babies, to survive and stay strong in today’s world where weak countries are getting crushed by strong countries……………… what make countries strong is their population, where government take taxes to pay and buy defensive guns to defend a country without the need to go into dept and sell its soul to powerful countries. I did not go to any university and yet I was able to understand this …

I maybe an ignorant on politics , but what happens when USA , well not USA but the Trump administrations has caused so much damage to the country to the point where other maybe most of his allies start taking responses such as that of Canada , and escalate to the point where perhaps USA lose most of his allies at least important allies such as Canada, the support of the global geopolitics , I Maine that scenario for a moment wouldn't that give Trump an excuse to align even more openly with Putin? I mean why would Trump want that at all who knows but he is certainly aligning with Russia just not openly at least that's what a lot of these decisions he has made recently seem to suggest I mean a lot of the consequences of those decisions and acting really seem to benefit someones agenda and to me a politics ignorant seems to be Putin ... Am I too crazy for thinking and feelings like that???

I mean he’s certainly well spoken Im sure we all can agree but factual….not so much. People do your research on Chinese Triad gang members buying up real estate in Vancouver to launder money from drug sales. There is no doubt a growing problem in Canada that is impacting the US. By the numbers Canada illegal border crossings and Fentanyl crossing volume might pale in comparison to Mexico but it’s important to note that it’s still a rising problem they’ve yet to fully understand. Look at how much of the Northern US border is unguarded compared to the southern border. This tariff war between the US and Canada is no doubt a problem but Canada is absolutely a part of the reason it exists. In the end please remember there’s always two sides to every story and mainstream media is anything but objective when it comes to how they cover them.

Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. Yes, I want cheaper eggs. Yes, I really need cheaper groceries. But not over the safety of the globe. Not over the lives of the people and children being killed in an unprovoked war. Not over the safety of Europe. Not over ripping off our closest and favorite country that borders us. Not over losing our democracy and our allies. I stand with Ukraine, Canada, Mexico and Europe and the Gulf of Mexico. You should ask yourself what you really stand for.

After a couple of years Trump and co will say, that Canada started a trade war against US. Just like they say, that Ukraine and Zelenskyy started the war with Russia. And now some uf US commentators are saying the same. It’s crazy. And there will be no way to get him to remember the facts. He and all who work for him are liars and half truth tellers. I’m not sure how to deal with this. But it is VERY important for all media outlets to keep reminding the facts. Just tell what happens, so there is a record. I think that could help in the end.\nSo here are my 5p:\nUS started trade war against Canada with 25% tariffs.\nRussia annexed Crimean peninsula and attacked Ukraine in 2022. This is the truth, no two ways about these facts.\nTrump and Vance are liars.

Full support to canadian people but not these 3 jokers. what trump is doing is not good, even india is not acting like this when bangladesh is operating like a rabid dog, however what real canadians should understand is that their country's current situation is because of this 3 jokers. Canada should appoint leaders that has atleast some basic understanding of geopolitics. Look at india right after meeting trump last week it has signed several deals with the EU, and even finalizing FTA with it by the end of this year. There was suppose to be a FTA with canada aswell but these jokers supported criminal illegals from india which india wanted back to face justice but these jokers defended those guys and even threatened indian diplomats, so even now you guys have time, exercise your democratic power and throw these three boogers and illegals out of your county. And plese don't overuse marijuana before the election day because its a very important day for you guys.. you guys need to be atleast 60% concious when you cast your vote, because i fear some of you might vote the wrong person After that enjoy your weed as much as you like. BEST of luck my canadian friends?

The Mexican President CLAUDIA SHEINBAUM writes to Trump and Musk on behalf of THE REST OF THE WORLD:\n\nSo, you voted to build a wall… Well then, my dear Americans, even if you don’t know much about geography—after all, for you, “America” is your country and not an entire continent—it’s important that before you lay the first stone, you know what you’re locking out with this wall.\n\nOutside, there are 7 billion people; but since the concept of “people” doesn’t seem to interest you much, let’s call them consumers instead.\n\nThere are 7 billion consumers ready to replace the iPhone with a Samsung or Huawei within 42 hours. They can also swap Levi’s for Zara or Massimo Dutti.\n\nQuite comfortably, within six months, we can stop buying Ford or Chevrolet vehicles and switch to Toyota, KIA, Mazda, Honda, Hyundai, Volvo, Subaru, Renault, or BMW, which are technically far superior.\n\nThese 7 billion people could also cancel their Direct TV subscriptions and—even if we wouldn’t like it—stop watching Hollywood movies, opting instead for Latin American or European productions, which are superior in quality, content, and cinematography.\n\nAs incredible as it may sound, we can stop traveling to Disney and instead visit Xcaret in Cancún, Mexico, Canada, or Europe—there are many incredible destinations in South America, Asia, and Europe.\n\nAnd believe it or not: There are even better burgers in Mexico than McDonald’s—with higher nutritional value.\n\nHas anyone ever seen a pyramid in the United States? In Egypt, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Sudan, and many other countries, there are pyramids with fascinating cultures. Take a look at where the wonders of the ancient and modern world are located… None of them are in the U.S. Too bad for Trump—otherwise, he would have bought and resold them!\n\nWe know that Adidas exists, not just Nike, and we can start consuming Mexican sneakers like Panam.\n\nWe know far more than you think; for example, we know that if these 7 billion consumers stop buying your products, unemployment will rise, and your economy will collapse so severely within your racist wall that you’ll beg us to tear it down. We didn’t want anything, but… You wanted a wall? Then you’ll get a wall.\n\nSincerely, \nTHE REST OF THE WORLD. \n\nPlease forward this message to 12 people. If you don’t, nothing will happen—except that many people won’t learn about these realities. \n\nCLAUDIA SHEINBAUM \nPRESIDENT OF MEXICO

A thought experiment:\nImagine that the Canadian government was given a magic technology that could build five million new homes overnight and assign them by lottery to people who didn't currently own a home.\nWould the government push the button to build the homes and give them to people who needed a home?\nNope. It would not.\nWhy?\nBecause the price of existing houses and apartments in Canada would drop by at least 50% overnight. And in our new, insane, everything-is-financialized, asset-prices-are-the-most-important-thing world, that would be deemed unacceptable.\nJust chew on that for a moment: we have a society, an economy, a governing and property owning class, that would prefer to forego the incredible quality of life increases for the population of magicking 5 million homes into existence, than to lose the valuations of a resource that is so scarce that demand grossly outstrips supply.\nWe live in a world of utter madness.

COMPLETE BULLSHIT. Trump is sending busloads of illegal immigrants from NYC and dropping them off at the Canadian border because that's cheaper than legally deporting them. This clown has them going the wrong way. They are counting the illegal immigrants Canada caught and is sending back to NYC by bus. MAGA idiots trying to make Trump the Frump look good.\nWhat these American geniuses should be looking at is:\nD. J. Trump has been a valuable asset to the Russian services for 40 years?\n\nAccording to former Soviet agent Yuri Shewrew, who moved to the U.S. in 1993 and obtained U.S. citizenship, Donald Trump was classified by the KGB as valuable services for forty years. Szłowie, former KGB Major, is currently one of the most important sources in Craig Unger’s book. “The American Comsar.” In addition to this thread, the book examines the president’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, a U.S. financier, who died in 2019.\n\nUnger claims that Trump first interested the Russians in 1977 when he married his first wife, Ivana Zelnickova, a Czech model. At that time, he became the target of a spy operation supervised by Czechoslovak intelligence in cooperation with the KGB. Three years later, when Trump opened his first major Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City, he bought 200 TVs from Siemon Kislin, a Soviet immigrant who co-owner of the electronic company Joy-People at Fifth Avenue. According to Szedema, Joy-People was controlled by the KGB, and Kislin worked as her agent and selected Trump, a young, growing businessman, as a potentially valuable intelligence.\n\nWhen in 1987. Trump and his wife visited Moscow and Leningrad for the first time, the future president held many business meetings, including KGB officers. According to the Sędzim, Russian officials who perfectly identified the narcissism of the interlocutor and his psychological and intellectual weaknesses led a real “offensive of charm”, flattered him and emphasized that his personality made a huge impression on them. They suggested that such a man should deal with politics, that only people like him can change the world. According to Szbla and Unger, Trump was the perfect target for recruitment in many ways, especially because of vanity and narcissism.\n\nTrump almost immediately “entered” a new role, i.e. “joyfully parroted anti-Western propaganda.” Shortly after his return to the United States, he began his efforts among the Republicans to nominate for his candidacy for president, and even organized an election rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On September 1, 1987, he published a full-page ad-icing in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Boston Globe, in which, among other things, he accused the Alliance of the U.S. and expressing his skeleticism to the U. According to Trump, America should stop paying to defend countries that can defend themselves. Such actions caused real euphoria in the USSR. Trump has already made the same the same theses as president.\n\nTrump's victory in the 2016 election. The Russians accepted with satisfaction. Special investigator Robert Mueller did not detect a conspiracy between members of the Trump staff and the Russians, but revealed at least 272 contacts and 38 meetings with people linked to Russia. The storm told The Guardian that he was disappointed with the investigation because there were no counterintelligence aspects of Trump’s relations with Moscow. According to Unger, Trump was definitely an asset to the Russian services, and his book “will start where Mueller ended.”\n\nSource: The Guardian of 29.01.2021.\n\nMelanija Knavs [now Melania Trump] was born in Novo Mesto, Yugoslavia, now part of present-day Slovenia, on April 26, 1970. Her father Viktor Knavs first worked as a chauffeur, and he eventually sold car parts for a state-owned vehicle manufacturer as he made connections with the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, the national communist party.\n\nWhy do you think Trump is so anti-Ukraine? Putin also has sex tapes showing Trump with adolescent girls in Russia, and Trump also owes Putin billions of dollars.

I'm from Brazil, living in Brazil, and would like to understand why the drug crises happened in Canada? Because everyone complain but not explain the real cause. It seems that the answer could ofend people because is a political platform related to the liberals. Please, someone could say something about it with honesty? Because it could happen in anyplace throughout the world. The Canada case is very important because it was a very rich country that degraded itself very fast.

Trudeau must go and the barking of provincial ministers like Legault in Quebec is pathetic!!! I was hoping that Legault would look for a partner in Trump, not an opponent! Legault forgot that the most important problem for Quebec is maintaining its national identity! Quebec's lack of cooperation with Trump's US is idiocy. The western provinces of Canada will take advantage of Legault's confrontational idiocy!

Totally unaware of the problem and why they are hated so much. He obviously doesn't read comments or watch the videos too much because the major reason they are not liked is that their attitude and lack of wanting to assimilate into Canada is the problem. They have been caught cheating the system and hav8ng no respect for others which is very important to Canadian s. They don't try to even learn English. I know of children born here in Canada and don't learn English till they go to grade 1.

I live in Canada and, as an immigrant, I study alongside many Indians. One of the biggest challenges I’ve observed is the difficulty some people have in adapting to Canadian culture. Indians, like many other groups, have a very strong and vibrant cultural identity, which is absolutely valid and important. However, when you choose to live in a country that is not your own, there is a certain responsibility to adapt to the new culture. After all, you made the decision to move to a different country, and part of that decision involves immersing yourself in the local culture.

Congratulations for all the hard work and research you 've done to compile so many data and provide a comprehensive explanation of the current situation. I'm an immigrant looking to get my PR, I have qualifications from one of the top universities in the world, experience as an international consultant and most important I do respect the Canadian culture and follow the rules. However, even for me it is uncertain what is going to happen? and/or if the government will make more changes and kick us out hahaha. I do believe that immigration has poured a lot of money into Canadian's pockets and most of them are not considering that, some of that money is going to go to another country who is willing to manage immigration with a better approach and provide a more certain perspective to new immigrants. The government allowed many bad actors (locals and foreigners) to take advantage of the system and those who are going to pay the bill are new immigrants due to political elections, and that is just sad. We will see who are they going to blame for mismanagement of public resources and the possible crash of several industries, that are currently relaying on foreign money, once there are no new immigrants to blame. I agree with most of the new rules regarding immigration, but I strongly disagree with the political approach of how the government is blaming immigrants for their lack of proper management. I still believe Canada is a great country no matter the outcome of my personal immigration process, wish you all the best of luck!

I appreciate the effort these two women are making to educate Canadians about their own country, but! I can see that their focus is strictly the Gen Z crowd, who really need educating, but not by a couple of foreigners who are just trying to make a living. Good for them. I admire your tenacity. But, ladies there are 10 provinces and 3 territories in Canada. Here's something you may not know...Canada is the second largest nation in land mass only after Russia...FYI!\nNow if you had lived in Canada for over 70 years; as some of us have; you would come to have realized that there is NO central Canadian culture. There are 13 different cultures and societies associated through a federation with a central government in Ottawa. Every province is unique in its politics, social programs, even cultural events. Not every province and territory celebrates the same holidays, memorials or statutory holidays.\nPeople in Newfoundland are as different from the rest of Canada as the Scots and Irish are in their homelands. Alberta has cowboys, BC has sailors, Saskatchewan has wheat and Manitoba has the Guess Who and mosquitos. Ontario is just arrogant, Quebec is just Quebec. There is NOTHING Canadian about Quebec. If they had it their way they would have been independent since the 1750s. They don't even like to speak English. They do it out of obligation to the federation. \nThe Maritimes are again, unique unto themselves. They could easily be an independent nation and then their true culture would shine. Why they practically speak a different language. They have been here longer than any of us and are in fact the most unique culture in all of Canada with the exception of one very important factor:\nThe First Nations of Canada. Their culture is as different from 'European' as Indian is from Chinese or Russian and Korean. \nAnd they have been here for thousands of years. Are. you addressing them as well in your broad stroke analysis of my great country?\nYou need to get to know this country from those who have been here long enough to educate YOU.\nWith all due respect I think you over reached your grasp of the situation. You can't learn about a nation just by travelling around and talking to people. You have to live here...for a long time. Good luck and effort though.

I live in Canada for last 48 years, and it’s a wonderful place, but problems started when liberal government started giving “immigrants” free money, that was burdened on the system.. and Chinese were buying houses in Vancouver and left them empty.. we don’t have corporations, bribery but values of time is very important… yes we do have some problems with economic issues… hopefully will get sorted out when new government will come next year.. not with EVM

Canada is often perceived as a land of opportunity and comfort, but my personal experience told a different story. After living there for over a decade, I made the difficult decision to leave for several reasons, each of which compounded my struggles and ultimately led me to seek a better quality of life elsewhere.\n\nThe Incident That Sparked the Change\nIn 2017, I was attacked in Toronto, leaving me with a broken nose. It was a traumatic experience, but the frustration didn't end there. When I reached out to my doctor to fix the injury, I was placed on a waitlist. For years, I followed up, hoping for progress, but by 2023, I still hadn’t received a call for the surgery. Each time, I was told the same thing: a shortage of doctors meant they couldn’t help. This highlighted a stark reality of the Canadian healthcare system—while it is publicly funded, it is often overwhelmed, leaving people waiting for years for essential treatments.\n\nThe Harsh Reality of Living Costs\nLiving in Canada became increasingly unsustainable for my family and me. Despite working hard and earning less than $100,000 annually, the cost of living pushed us into a debt of over $70,000. The financial strain was immense, forcing us to sell our home just to clear the loan. Even with this sacrifice, our lifestyle remained stagnant. We hadn’t taken a vacation in ten years because there was simply no room in the budget. Owning a home or enjoying basic luxuries felt like an unattainable dream, and I realized that continuing in this cycle was not a viable option.\n\nChallenging Weather Conditions\nCanada’s harsh weather was another factor that wore us down over time. The long, freezing winters and short, unpredictable summers made it difficult to enjoy outdoor life or maintain a consistent routine. The mental toll of enduring such extreme weather year after year contributed to the decision to seek a more temperate and enjoyable environment.\n\nA Need for Change\nAfter ten years of struggle, it became clear that the current conditions in Canada were not conducive to a fulfilling life. The combination of healthcare delays, skyrocketing living costs, financial stress, and unforgiving weather made me question the sacrifices I was making. Life is short, and the realization that there are other places in the world with better systems and opportunities prompted me to take action.\n\nWhile Canada has its merits, it’s important for people to reassess their priorities and make decisions that align with their well-being. For me, leaving was a step toward reclaiming my life and creating a future where I could thrive, rather than just survive.

Do whatever your boss tells you. It's the only thing that works aside from Networking. Start going to the right church. Do not learn the Law aside from the obvious offences. Very important. Following or even indicating that you know how our country works can actually hurt you. Ignorance indeed leads to Bliss here. Competition? There is no competition. Find out who matters, don't cross them, hope you can get along and you'll be fine. Seriously, I stayed optimistic and disregarded these obvious clues to what Canada is really like and it destroyed my Life. This list of hints presented in this video paint a very rosy picture of what it's really like in our Cities and Provinces.

My story is similar to yours Alina, moved to Canada at 15 y.o., lived there for 20 yrs and now moved away. It's been hard, Canada has been the place I'd call home and thinking that I may never come back to live there is a little heart wrenching. Looking forward to learning what place you picked for yourself. From my experience, it will not be easy whatever place you pick. The social connections, daily life, it will all take a long time to set up. One thing that helps is keeping in touch with the most important people in your life - whereever they may be.

The worst of the worse from India flooding in Canada bringing in their third world backwards culture and giving a bad name to all Indian diaspora in Canada. Not all Indians do these disgusting acts but offcourse you can’t control what people think no matter how many videos and campaigns you post explaining that those Indians don’t represent all indians. That’s the problem. Which is why screening is very important. The very reason you move away from your miserable place in India are those kind of folks and the culture, yet they flood in and bringing the same culture. They’ve brought those nightmares to your doorsteps, so naturally you’ll br disgusted. Who wouldn’t be?

Improving Canada's Immigration System: A Clear and Practical Approach\n\nCanada has always been a welcoming country for immigrants, but recent trends have highlighted the need for a more careful and balanced approach. \n\nBelow are key suggestions to improve the immigration system and ensure it benefits the country and its residents:\n\n1.Strengthening Immigration Rules\nCanada should adopt stricter immigration rules to ensure that only those who meet certain standards are allowed to enter. This includes thorough background checks and making sure immigrants have the skills and education needed to contribute positively.\n\n2.Pausing Immigration to Address Issues\nTemporarily slowing down or pausing immigration could help the government address current challenges. This pause would allow for a review and improvement of policies to ensure future immigration is better managed.\n\n3.Making the System More Selective\nThe immigration process should be more selective, ensuring that only those who are truly qualified and capable of contributing to Canadian society are accepted. This could include tougher language tests and more rigorous checks on educational and professional qualifications.\n\n4.Focusing on Skilled and Intellectual Talent\nWhile labor is important, Canada should also focus on attracting immigrants with advanced skills, education, and innovation potential. These individuals can help drive the economy and bring new ideas to the country.\n\n5.Balancing the Focus Beyond Labor\nCanada should not only focus on bringing in laborers but also aim to attract people with diverse skills, including those in technology, healthcare, and other specialized fields. This balance can help strengthen the economy and reduce dependency on low-wage jobs.\n\n\n6.Enforcing Laws with Immediate Consequences\nIt's important that all immigrants follow Canadian laws. Those who break the law should face immediate consequences, including possible deportation. This approach will help maintain order and ensure that everyone respects the country’s rules.\n\n*€—Promoting Responsibility Among Immigrants\nImmigrants should be aware that they are expected to contribute positively and act responsibly while in Canada. Strict enforcement of rules will encourage responsible behavior.\n\n\n7.Prioritizing Canadians for Jobs\nWhile immigration is necessary, Canadians should have the first opportunity for available jobs. The government should focus on training and supporting its own citizens to fill roles before turning to immigrant labor.\n\n\n8.Regulating Educational Institutions\nEducational institutions should not be allowed to exploit immigrants by making false promises about opportunities in Canada. The government must regulate these institutions to ensure they provide real value and not just profit from vulnerable individuals.\n\n\n9.Reevaluating the Cost and Value of Education\nThe cost of education in Canada should reflect its true value. Immigrants should not be misled into paying high fees for education that does not lead to meaningful job opportunities. The government should ensure that education aligns with market demands.\n\n\n10.Reforming the Healthcare System\nCanada’s healthcare system needs improvement to provide timely and effective care for all residents. This is especially important as the population grows due to immigration.\n\n\n11. Reviewing and Improving Immigration Policies\nCanada needs to review and improve its immigration policies to address current challenges and ensure that immigration continues to benefit the country. This involves making thoughtful reforms to support both immigrants and the existing population.\nBy focusing on these practical steps, Canada can continue to be a thriving nation that balances growth with maintaining a high quality of life for all its residents.

Loved this video. So real!! I think it's so important to always be moving forward in life. If Canada is that next step for you that's great, but if you've been here for a few generations and it's no longer serving you in the ways you need there is nothing wrong with searching for something more. I think for so long people have looked at Canada as this utopia and/or ultimate finish line destination but once you're here it's quite a shock at how difficult life really is here because of how expensive it is. Not to mention the climate... Hard enough living in the winter most of the year. Great video can't wait to see what's next for you :) !!

I find there is a huge amount of double-speak in your comments, so much so that you sound very insincere. Example: all the praise of Canada, yet you are planning to leave, and with good reason. I've done extensive research on several countries to move to and it's not very difficult to see why so many Canadians (among those who have options) are leaving Canada. Here's one important data point for anyone who is interested: In the OECD's national growth rate projections to 2060 (not a typo, 2060), Canada has placed dead last! There are 38 OECD members. What this means is that the fundamentals are not in place in Canada. The country is now in free fall, as there is not enough wealth creation happening, and it's just not true, as this video suggests, that Canada still offers endless 'opportunities'. Stop the disingenuousness.

it’s very funny how this whole documentary is shifted to how canada failed internationally students and not how canada has failed itself canadas job is to put canadians first we don’t owe anything to anyone for a better life talk about the struggles for canadians if you are going to move abroad to a whole new country by yourself it is clear that research is the most important thing you need to do

Canada is a diverse country, home to people from many different backgrounds. While the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit are the original inhabitants of this land, today, many other communities contribute significantly to the nation’s economy and culture.\n\nFor instance, the Indian diaspora in Canada has brought substantial economic benefits, contributing billions of dollars through various sectors, including technology, healthcare, and education. Each community, whether of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, African, East Asian, or European descent, plays a vital role in the fabric of Canadian society. It’s crucial to recognize and appreciate the unique contributions of all these groups rather than comparing them in a divisive manner.\n\nHowever, there have been some concerns regarding certain international students and individuals from various backgrounds. A portion of these students may not be enrolled in programs that lead to strong career prospects or that significantly benefit Canada’s economy in the long run. Additionally, issues have been raised about unruly behavior, including playing loud music and creating disturbances, which can affect the peace and quiet of local communities. This behavior isn’t limited to one group; individuals from various communities, including White Canadians, have sometimes contributed to these challenges. Moreover, some students and individuals have brought political issues from their home countries into Canada, leading to protests that disrupt the harmony here.\n\nWhile it’s important to address these concerns, we must do so in a way that promotes understanding and respects the contributions of all communities. Fostering unity is essential in celebrating the multicultural strength of Canada.

It's because everywhere in Canada is turning into India. Our ways are being bulldozed out of existence by their ways. It's not all bad. But people want to be able to live the lifestyle they grew up with. Restaurants and bars being bought up and all turned into Indian restaurants. 30 within 4 blocks is ridiculous. All i hear when I go out for a walk is obnoxiously loud Indian music. To be clear, I love Indian culture, food, customs and views on family. But I think it's so important for Canada's identity to keep a variety and not have 1 culture with no interest in co-existing with the beautiful blend that is Canada.

It is a very important thing to note that despite Canada being the second largest country in the world by landmass, the vast majority of the population lives 100km from the American border because the vast majority of the land has no infrastructure to have large scale habitation. Outside of the prairies and the st Lawrence valley, there is precious little farmland to sustain people. So we import a huge percentage of our food which can also attribute to rising costs (not the only factor but it doesn’t help). Geographically, this country can’t comfortably hold more than 36 million people. Our population really shouldn’t grow beyond that unless we have infrastructure to house and feed people, which we barely do for the people that live here let alone the folks coming in. I feel like people want to make it a race issue, but that’s misguided. Canada is not America. We can’t fill our country top to bottom with people it’s logistically too difficult. We literally don’t have the resources to grow beyond that roughly 36 million cap

I'm Canadian. Canada isn't the same anymore. Everyone is basically broke right now, no onr can find work, and if you can, you still won't be making enough to keep up with inflation. Mortages and rent have doubled, food prices are robbing us, and we are taxed significantly only for our tax dollars to be wasted. \n\nAnother issue is Crime. \nCrime has gone up, Especially in the past few years. Not only car thefts and scams, but violent crime too. Every week, an international student, or immigrant is charged with the murder of someone in my city. \n\nMy biggest issue is that they can't find drive very well either.\n\nI'm not racist. Its important to have an open mind and be accepting towards other cultures. However, our country has fallen. I mostly blame Trudeau, his government is very incompetent. He has ruined our country

********Important**********************Since I've been living in Canada for more than two years, the immigration protests you mentioned have occurred. To put it briefly, everyone moves to different provinces for PR, just like I did when I studied in Toronto for two years. The CRS score for PR is significantly higher there, and there aren't as many easy possibilities, therefore students there relocate. The protest is taking place in Prince Edward Island, where I moved a few months ago. They are protesting for the extension of their work permit and the opening of those easy PR draws, which are currently paused. I moved here in order to obtain PR, but I worry that this protest is inappropriate. Because everyone must submit a statement of purpose (SOP) when applying for a visa to Canada, and in that statement you clearly indicate that you will return to your home country after completing your studies and working there. However, if this statement is not clear, the visa officer may reject your application, stating that they believe you will not return home after completing your studies and working there. In order to avoid having our visa applications denied, we always attempt to assure the officer that we will return home. You have no right to request a PR, an extension of your work visa, or anything else if you have made this statement of purpose plain on your own. If you're thinking about moving to Canada, always make sure that the government is in charge. When I planned, getting our PR was simple, and now that they've changed the laws and regulations, they have rights as immigrants, so nobody should fight against getting PR and a work visa, etc.

I bealive new immigrants needs to adopt Canadian Values and way of living. They see Canadá as we are so nice and stupid, taking advantage of public services. When you immigrate to a country you are curios and open to learn a new culture you are leaving your country because there is things that you don’t like and you see your self with the same values of other culture. Once you are in Canada you are evolving and adapting to new ideas, and methods of living, most important you are here to contribute to society and the economy by taking care of your self by working hard upgrading your skills, help others follow the rules. Not the opposite you don’t move to be taken care off by taking advantage of government programs, if you honestly and truly need the government help the program is there for you if not you have a moral responsibility to contribute to this country/ planet.

The Case for Fairness: Student Visas and Permanent Residency in Canada\n\nCanada is known for its welcoming attitude towards international students, who come to study and gain valuable skills. However, recent protests by some foreign students demanding permanent residency (PR) raise important questions about the purposes of study permits and immigration policies.\n\nThe primary intention of a student visa is to allow individuals to pursue education. While the experience gained in Canada can enhance future career prospects, it should not give rise to expectations of automatic residency. Granting PR based on educational status could undermine the integrity of Canada’s immigration system and set a precedent that might attract individuals solely interested in residency rather than education.\n\nThe government must uphold the rules governing student visas and immigration. Students are encouraged to focus on their studies and contribute positively to Canadian society during their time here. After their studies, it is fair that they return to their home countries, equipped with new knowledge and skills.\n\nBy maintaining a clear distinction between study permits and immigration pathways, the Canadian government can ensure that the system remains fair and just for all. It is essential to support international students while also encouraging respect for the legal frameworks in place.

I am in canada right now. I live in Oshawa a town of GTA. Find a job is a problem. College life is good but there is a harsh truth of teachers being rude and disrespectful of the students. This country has a lot of scam. Even scammers are using indeed to get your emails and numbers to connect with you. Medical facilities are so irresponsible that the meaning of emergency in this country is 12 hrs waiting period. Not only the drugs are a problem. Bad parenting, Not understanding responsibilities as a tax payer all of these are included. And the most important role is played by the government who doesn’t have any plans to tackle this prblm ?

I was really lucky to visit Toronto in 2000-2002 and practice some Portuguese and Italian. The first time, I came by train from Chicago and arrived at 1 AM. I was scared as I waited for the trolley on Dundas St. But to my surprise there was a young lady enjoying the late night and she even talked to me (something that wouldn't happen in Southern CA). I discovered that if was safe to walk until 2 AM in Toronto. It was really pleasant to explore Little Portugal, Chinatown and other neighborhoods. I remember that it hit the 30s with some humidity, but the reward was taking a bus to Niagara Falls at 50% off for being a student. However, I was sad to discover that the old transportation is gone, and prices have skyrocketed (food and hotels). It's not just Covid-19, but the corruption of thousands of politicians in NorthAmerica that have started wars and the flow of drugs and people. I would never think that Canada could change so drastically. But I still think that Toronto could be enjoyable ( what I really didn't like was the subway, since the stations are far away from important sites as opposed to Montréal that is so convenient). I still remember how Pearson airport was enjoyable to walk. But to see encampments like LA, SD or SF in Toronto is really sad. Hopefully, in the near future it gets cleaned up. You can't destroy what took decades to build and admire in a few years. Safety is always a concern in 2024, but Toronto is much better than CA.

What people forget is that this was an ACCIDENT. It could literally happen to anyone, regardless of skin color or country of origin.\nJune 2023, Manitoba's deadliest traffic accident occurred during a vehicle collision between a handi-transit bus and a semi-truck on the Trans-Canada Highway in the Municipality of North Cypress – Langford near Carberry, Manitoba, Canada, killing .17 seniors. The driver was completely 100% at fault. FACT. And not one single charge was laid. \nThose lives were no less important than the lives at the Humbolt crash. Yet no one spent time in prison. \nI hope Mr Sidhu wins his appeal case and is allowed to stay in Canada.

A Pakistani talking about Indian immigration, and listen to this... the biggest blunder he makes is by saying that he is feeling more unsafe in Canada than in Pakistan. Jesus, people these days are so out of touch???.... Boy, your own home country is a failed state and the biggest terrorist hub on the planet,,, FACTSSSS. You should start identifying as Canadian (which I hope you are ?) rather than telling immigrants to go back to their own countries. If you want, you can gladly go back yourself. Canada is a nation built by immigrants. Let's not forget that.\n\nI agree with Harrison that immigration has been excessive and has gone out of control in Canada over the past few years, and I would say the current government is mostly to blame. They should tighten regulations regarding study permits and issue visas only to genuine students who want to grow in this beautiful country, rather than those planning to work at pizza shops for the rest of their lives. We also need to crack down on the aggressive sales practices of immigration consultants in developing nations like India. Let's not forget the big culprits behind this: the admissions officers of the colleges, who fully endorse these practices to meet their revenue targets by any means possible, all under the watchful eyes of the government and IRCC.\n\nI've witnessed this firsthand. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Explain the rules behind that and see what happens next—people will stop coming to Canada altogether. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. They won't even get a job as a busboy using those useless diplomas and certificates back home....\n\nI'd love to talk with you if you like, Harrison, as I'm a former international student and now a proud Canadian citizen.
