Why is it so difficult to have reasonable conversations about this? Most of this video is completely true — but so many comments show love to that bike guy who was factually incorrect and pointlessly racist. But on the other hand, so many woke types don’t even want to admit the problem. They also don’t want to talk about how the government is complicit. Every nation has a right to define itself, and how much immigration it wants, and how that immigration happens. It is beyond ridiculous to not speak the primary language of the country you emigrate to. But why say weird shit like indians eat shit?? Or that 1.5 billion people are all the same? The rationale behind early immigration was to be very tough and selective about who enters and lives here. They welcomed students because it brought in a lot of revenue so that’s a win-win, but to LIVE they had to prove they were an asset to the community. Now the whole thing is manipulated. You don’t have proper vetting for the students because of fake colleges that just want to make money. You don’t have proper limits on immigration and criteria for jobs/skills because companies want to make money. Politicians just do whatever strategy gets votes. But for some reason people either only get woke about the positives of Indian immigrants or only negative, sometimes racist about them. It’s fair to acknowledge that rampant, unchecked immigration ruins the culture. Like Indian driving culture is fucking terrible. You don’t want to bring that shit over. You can also acknowledge that early immigrants and their kids are often completely American/Canadian, from their native language, accents, education, references etc. And that Indians are generally a low-crime, high-employment, high-tax-paying immigrant group. And we ALSO acknowledge that that’s changing because of the type/number of people coming in, and the financial and political incentives which support it. It causes valid resentment. These fucking human smuggling rings are real af. Wokies don’t ever talk about it. But I wish we could have this conversation without the racism.

Most Canadians are not against immigration. We just took too many immigrants in there wasn’t enough places for them to live. It wasn’t fair to them or the people living here. Things had to change. It’s not that we don’t want people coming. It’s just that we have no housing housing has to increase by millions of unitsand we were in the process of doing that right now.

I am a Canadian residing in Vancouver BC. and there is no division. We Canadians 🇨🇦 want fair, balanced and skilled immigration that contributes to the betterment of all Canadians. Companies like Tim Hortons want to hire cheap foreign labour with no benefits, it is pure greed. Canadians have had enough. We are unified in this assertion.

Whats not fair is that they came here for a better life and now our quality of life has suffered. Every person will tell you how things have changed negatively because of the Indians, Punjabi's and Pakistanis. None of them aligns with Canadian values. I feel its very rude and nerve-racking of them to come here and then try to change our culture to look like what they just came from. They are a dirty people. They have no rules when it comes to cleanliness in their food factories. They literally use their filthy feet to help in the preparation of food that is shipped to Western countries. Its a common agreement that we dont want them here. Even natural-born Indians dont want them here. They know how disgusting their hygiene practises are. I went to an indian resteraunt with a friend of mine and i could see into the kitchen and the guy who was cooking was barefooted and as he came to deliver the food he slid into a pair of slippers. I asked him if he was cooking in bare feet and he lied saying OHHH no maam and then he lifted his foot. I looked at my friend and said this is grose and im going to McDonalds. And everyone in Mcdonalds was Indian too. FUCC that. Canada doesnt even look Canadian anymore. We honestly look Asian and its the Liberals who are doing it. Get rid of White Canadians. Bring in Dumb down indians and they will never lose another election

As a Southeast Asian, I can understand why countries like the United States, Canada, or those in Europe are concerned about immigration levels. Wanting to prevent any single immigrant group from becoming disproportionately large is not necessarily about racism, but about maintaining social balance and protecting opportunities for the local population. Many Asian countries feel the same way—we would not want large numbers of foreigners, whether Russian, American, or from elsewhere, to migrate in such a way that they dominate job markets or significantly alter the local social structure. This perspective applies universally, not just in Western countries. From this viewpoint, it seems reasonable for countries to manage immigration by maintaining a balance between native citizens and immigrants. Setting limits or proportions for different immigrant groups can be seen as a way to preserve social stability while still allowing controlled and fair immigration.

This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. Too busy squabbling liberal conservative baseline rhetoric that we made ourselves blind to the human cost in our own borders.

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? Are you striving for Canadians to think badly of your race/culture? Are you being a good ambassador to your race/community/culture/religion? Canadians are so friendly & helpful, if you need help, just ask, please don't demand. Learn the language & it's ok to speak broken/pigeon English with gestures to communicate. No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... Please & Thank You, Smile doesn't cost you anything, besides it's good exercise for your facial muscles. I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! I feel very sad because, in the end, all immigrants end up paying the price for the bad attitudes of a few. I speak especially from the perspective of Latin American immigrants: we are not the majority in Canada, but we come with the intention of adapting, of including ourselves in the local culture, and of contributing the best we can. Our culture is not so distant — we share religion, family values, and lifestyle — and we arrive with the willingness to integrate, not to impose. Even so, for us the path is extremely difficult: getting permanent residency and, eventually, citizenship is a long, expensive, and complicated process. And we do it, we comply with the rules, we respect, we pay everything. What hurts is seeing that some other groups arrive with a different attitude: instead of integrating, they want to impose their culture, their religion, even their body odors, and if you make a face or express discomfort, they immediately take it as “discrimination.” It is not fair that, for example, my child should stop bringing meat in his lunch just because another child bullies him saying he is “a filthy sinner.” Inclusion should be mutual, an effort on both sides, not a one-sided demand.

No doubt about it, Canada is for Canadians. If you wanted to, you could deport millions of immigrants, but let's be real about the cost. The Canadian economy, its pensions, its farms, and its health sector all rely on immigrants to pay taxes and fill jobs. It's not some big conspiracy about population replacement; it's just about the economy. You can't have one without the other. Canadians aren't the only ones dealing with this. In Asia and Africa, it's a different kind of immigrant, the ones with money who buy up land and property, driving locals out of the market. They're not given an ear either, because money talks. It’s always been about the money and the power, and Canadians should understand that perspective too. The culture or religion of a few bad apples shouldn’t be used to tarnish every immigrant. We do need to do a better job screening people, but it’s not fair to paint everyone with the same brush. In the U.S., Indian immigrants are top earners and incredibly successful, but people still complain that they’re "taking their jobs." So, if an Indian person is a failure, they're a problem. If they're a success, they're still a problem. They can't win. This old colonial mindset is alive and well. It's tough for some people to process that a person of color can outsmart them and rise up by their own bootstrap. But when those same folks go to Asia or Africa, suddenly they feel that old nostalgia and are much more comfortable with the social hierarchy there. It would be ideal if no one had to leave their home country for a better life. When we have more justice in the world for everyone, maybe we won't have to keep having these conversations.

I am so happy people are starting to speak up. Sadly, I am changing. I am becoming angry. Angry at immigrants and the system. Am I becoming racist? Or just so lost at how things seem so wrong. My main upset is for my teen son. Turned 16 after Christmas. So excited about looking for a part-time job, earning some money, getting experiences and (unbeknownst to him ) expanding his social circle. This excitement came from me. LIke all us Canadians who remember our first part-time jobs (mine was at a McDonalds), I regaled my son in stories of that first part-time job. How much I learned from it, and the so many benefits it would have for me as I got older. He listened, and couldn't wait to turn 16. Also, like most parents, I raised him on the benefits of working hard in school, getting good grades, learning, getting involved, etc. Do these things son, and you will have a good future. He listened. Honours student all his life. Played on school teams. Performed in talent shows, Volunteered his time, etc., etc. Not a bad resume for a first time teen seeking a job. It is now heading into September. He has applied at all the traditional teen job hotspots, (all the fast food joints, grocery stores, drug stores, etc). Dozens of resumes, online and in-person applications. Not a single response. Then I walk into the local Burger King. Not a single Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, or Far Eastern employee. All East Indian (or Pakistani). Suddenly I am really noticing this trend everywhere, especially in the franchise fast food industry; especially upsetting when I even see it in a Harvey's (even more Canadian than Timmies). It's either East Indians or Arabs. I don't know for how long I have been hearing about diversity and fair hiring practices (which I have always supported); but to see this trend makes me furious. Are the owners of these franchise exempt from fair hiring practices? Are they not taught we are a diverse country? This is wrong. I want to finish with two sad situations which we should all be concerned about. When my eldest was looking for part-time work after the pandemic, he walked into a Mr. Submarine. He asked if he could leave his resume or fill out an application. The Arab cashier told him in broken English they were not hiring. As he was walking out, a young Arab man walked in. He approached the same cashier and asked for an application. She gave him one. WTF. My last comment, is the most concerning of all. My 16 year old, who works so hard at school, and at everything he does, recently commented, after yet another non-reply after handing out a slew of resumes, "Dad... what's the use of working so hard if I can't even get a job at McDonalds." I wonder how many other Canadian teens are feeling the same way. Not just white teens. Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and East Asian teens. Seems the broken English East Indian and Arab teens and young adults aren't asking themselves that. How long until my son thinks I am just spewing BS about this hard work thing? This is not about racism. This is about fair hiring practices, especially in more and more franchises; however, I do find myself listening to more and more of these videos, and find myself developing sucb negative feelings towards these two cultures. This is not Canadian. To be thinking this way, especially, is not Canadian. What do we do? Speak up, and we are racist. Stay quiet, and our teen kids move into adulthood without job experience, money put away, or just having a life experience that any of us over 30 (no matter our race) experienced. Something has to change; but I haven't a clue how to do that.

I believe that once we get everything on line, we can weather out the storm. What does Canada have that we don't have? All we want is a fair deal. We have endured the burden of ensuring the safety and economic development of our allies. They have all benefitted, and it is time for them to offer some relief while Trump works on our problems back home.

tRump is the ultimate dicktator. I do mean dick. He's not doing this because of fentanyl or even free and fair trade. He's doing this because he wants control of Canada, Greenland, Panama, and Mexico because he wan't to brag to his buddies Putin and Xi Ping.

Remember when this same fellow froze protesters bank accounts and began collecting peoples weapons? Yet, he has the gull to talk about dictators. Trump actually wants to avoid WWIII and I hope what his administration does will bring an end to the war. Though, I do agree he should be more tough on Putin. That being said, I do agree that the crossings from Canada are not nearly as significant as compared to our southern border. It would be nice to see more from Canada in their investments to secure the border and stop crossings, cartel movements, and drug operations. The US has spent more than 409 billion since 2003 on such operations. Regardless, I feel for you Canadians and it sucks that it has come to this and I hope we keep strong relations in the future. Hopefully we can come to a fair deal soon. Mexico and China are the big players that do not do nearly enough to prevent these crimes. In fact, the Mexican government helps the cartels by not trying to stop them. China's lack of regulation on the ingredients to make fentanyl contribute to a large extent to this tragedy as well.

United States will take parody with Canada as far as tariffs are concerned. We just want fair trade. The deals signed by United States were bad deals. We just want fair and even trade. We will be back to normal soon as we make tariffs equal on both sides. We love Canadians, we just want even tariffs. Peace out

Trudeau, you are putting Americans and Canadians through this because you don't want to see that Mr. Trump just wants fairness and for some reason you want tariff wars. From the USA: Why is it right for Canada to tariff us more than we tariff them? Trump pointed out that there was a 200 billion a year tariff deficit for the USA. Some say that number is inflated and the real number is somewhere around the 70 billion mark in Canada's favor. No one disagrees that the US has a huge tariff deficit with Canada. So, the USA is just leveling the playing field. It's time to truly have level trade with the rest of the world, not just Canada. No more free lunch from the US to the world. We want free and fair trade, but for that to happen we must tariff other countries goods at exactly the same level they tariff our goods.
